Bluegrass Community Welcomes Dr. Caleb Dawson, General Surgeon

VERSAILLES, Ky. (September 4, 2025) – Bluegrass Community Hospital (BCH) is pleased to announce that Caleb Dawson, MD, has joined Central Kentucky General Surgery and is now providing surgical services and outpatient appointments in Versailles.

Dr. Dawson, a Kentucky native, is a board-eligible general surgeon with advanced training in laparoscopic surgical techniques. His areas of expertise include procedures of the gallbladder, colon, small bowel, and hernia surgeries. He also trained in robotic-assisted surgeries.

Dr. Dawson attended the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate degree before earning his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Dawson enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, and cheering for University of Kentucky athletics.
